Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Packo mobile application or visiting meetpacko.com (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Services.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Description of Service

Packo is a pet health and longevity tracking application designed to help dog owners monitor their dog's nutrition, health score, wellness, weight, and overall wellbeing. The app provides tools for logging daily health data and generating insights to support better care decisions.

Packo is not a veterinary service. The information provided in the app is for informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for medical concerns about your pet.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of Packo, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and update your account information to keep it accurate
• Keep your password confidential and not share it with others
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Packo only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Services in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app
• Use the Services to transmit harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Services

5. Subscription and Payments

Packo offers a free Basic tier and a paid Premium subscription. By purchasing a Premium subscription, you agree to:

• Pay the applicable subscription fees as described in the app
• Automatic renewal of your subscription unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Our refund policy as governed by the Apple App Store terms

Subscription billing is handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not store your payment information. For refund requests, please contact Apple Support or visit your App Store account settings.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to Packo, including pet profiles, health logs, and other data ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use that content solely to provide and improve the Services.

You represent that you have the right to submit any User Content and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

7. Intellectual Property

The Packo app, website, logo, name, and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by Packo and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our Services without our express written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

PACKO IS NOT A VETERINARY SERVICE. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR SUITABILITY OF ANY HEALTH INFORMATION PROVIDED. ALWAYS CONSULT A LICENSED VETERINARIAN FOR YOUR PET'S HEALTH NEEDS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PACKO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR HARM TO YOUR PET'S HEALTH.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Services at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may terminate your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Quebec, Canada.
